CancercareThe CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 2007 to address the needs of individuals who cannot afford their insurance co-payments to cover the cost of medications for treating cancer.

Patient Access Network Foundation

PanfoundationThe Patient Access Network (PAN) Foundation is an independent, national 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to helping federally and commercially insured people living with life-threatening, chronic and rare diseases with the out-of-pocket costs for their prescribed medications. Partnering with generous donors, healthcare providers and pharmacies, PAN provides the underinsured population access to the healthcare treatments they need to best manage their conditions and focus on improving their quality of life. Since its founding in 2004, PAN has provided nearly 1 million underinsured patients with over $3 billion in financial assistance, through over 60 disease-specific programs, including 24 oncology and 5 hematology programs.

Patient Access Network Foundation’s FundFinder is a free, web-based tool that lets you create a login and search for financial assistance opportunities across many disease states and charitable programs in one place. Once you sign up, you can search over 200 patient assistance funds from multiple foundations and even set up email or text notifications for when assistance opens for a condition you’re tracking.

Patient Advocate Foundation's Co-Pay Relief Program

Copay ReliefThe Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) Co-Pay Relief Program (CPR) currently provides direct financial support to insured patients, including Medicare Part D beneficiaries, who must financially and medically qualify to access pharmaceutical co-payment assistance. The program offers personal service to all patients through the use of call counselors; personally guiding patients through the enrollment process.

The Assistance Fund

TafThe Assistance Fund (TAF) is an independent charitable patient assistance organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket costs by providing financial assistance for their copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, and other health-related expenses. We currently manage over 100 disease programs, each of which covers all FDA-approved treatment for the disease named in the program. Since 2009, TAF has helped over 260,000 people access critical treatment for life-changing diseases.

PipPretty In Pink Foundation serves North Carolinians diagnosed with breast cancer who are under-insured or uninsured. When breast cancer is present and medical insurance is not enough, care can be delayed or simply not ever received because of cost barriers. Once diagnosed with breast cancer, often times individuals are choosing between breast cancer treatment and quality of life needs like shelter and food. Pretty In Pink Foundation helps ensure that quality, lifesaving medical treatment is available to breast cancer patients residing in North Carolina.
